About Grace Harbor
Grace Harbor Compassionate Services extends the reach of compassionate care through encouragement, education, practical guidance, remembrance, and hope for individuals and families facing caregiving, serious illness, grief, and healing.
We meet people where they are, with kindness and understanding.
We provide clear, trustworthy information to help families navigate each step.
We offer practical tools and gentle direction for today and tomorrow.
We believe healing is possible and that no one has to walk this path alone.
Welcome
Grace Harbor is a refuge of comfort—offering brief daily support, optional deeper resources, and a steady place to breathe. Whether your grief is new, complicated, or resurfacing after years, you are welcome here.
We believe grief deserves both tenderness and guidance. Not pressure. Not clichés. Just honest support—one day, one breath, one step at a time.
Here you will find encouragement for hard days, practical tools for milestones and “firsts,” longer guided pathways when you are ready, and shareable language for friends and professionals who want to help but do not always know what to say.
Our Foundation
Grace Harbor Compassionate Services exists to extend the reach of compassionate care through encouragement, education, practical guidance, remembrance, and hope for individuals and families facing caregiving, serious illness, grief, and healing.
We offer steady, practical grief support for real life—gentle enough for a tender day, clear enough to be useful, and available when a visit has ended and the quiet returns.
Human compassion is irreplaceable. Accessible compassion is indispensable.
Looking Forward
We envision a world where every family facing loss can find a steady place to return— a harbor of comfort that remains on between visits, overnight, and across the months when grief changes shape.
Grace Harbor aims to be gentle, not clinical; grounded, not shallow; practical, not pushy; and hopeful, not dismissive—so people leave feeling more informed, more supported, more prepared, and less alone than when they arrived.
Our Family of Care
Grace Harbor Compassionate Services is a ministry of Heaven Sent, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to compassionate care through education, remembrance, practical support, and hope.
Together, Heaven Sent and Grace Harbor share one mission while serving different needs.
Heaven Sent focuses primarily on pregnancy, infant loss, children's remembrance, and family healing. Grace Harbor extends that same compassionate mission to adults, caregivers, serious illness, hospice families, professionals, and communities navigating grief and life's difficult transitions.
Together they provide a lifelong continuum of compassionate care—from a baby's first heartbeat to the many seasons of healing that follow loss.
Supporting children, parents, grandparents, and families through pregnancy loss, infant loss, remembrance, healing, education, and family-centered ministries.
Providing compassionate guidance, grief education, caregiver support, practical planning resources, professional partnerships, and lifelong encouragement for adults and families.
One heart. One mission. Two pathways of compassionate care.

For Those Who Serve Families
Hospice nurses, chaplains, caregivers, and aftercare professionals already offer irreplaceable human presence. Grace Harbor was built to extend that care after the visit ends—steady, gentle, and easy to refer— so families have something trustworthy to open when questions rise in the night.
Resources are educational and emotionally supportive only. They are not medical, mental-health, or crisis care. You remain the clinician or caregiver. Grace Harbor remains the support extension.
“Tonight, when you cannot sleep and questions begin coming, visit Grace Harbor. There are resources there for exactly what you are experiencing.”
Grace Harbor does not replace that human presence. It extends it.
For Families
Families can trust Grace Harbor because it comes from decades of direct family care and grief education, tells the truth about what it is, and offers guidance without rushing anyone toward a false finish line. You can move privately, at your own pace, and return whenever you need.
Support created with care for the realities families carry.
Clear, usable guidance for real days—not empty slogans.
Grief education and gentle language that help people understand what they are experiencing.
Faith, questions, silence, and quiet strength are all welcome here.
No login required for core resources—support available when the visit ends and the quiet returns.
No rush to “be okay.” Begin where you are and move as grief changes.
