Leaving a Note
When the time comes, you may share something true from your journey— what you have carried, what still hurts, what surprised you, or what you wish someone had told you. It need not sound wise or hopeful. It only needs to be honest.
Leave something true.
Take the one that resonates. Leave one for someone’s tomorrow.
A Grace Note need not be inspirational. Grief need not be resolved. Difficult places are welcome here. Something true from your journey can be a gift to someone walking a similar path.
Something true from my journey...
A quiet space for what you have carried
Gentle possibilities
These are not categories to complete—only gentle doors. Write what is yours to write. Leave what remains unfinished.
The heart of it
Grace lives in the giving and the receiving— one person leaves something true; another finds what resonates.
When the time comes, you may share something true from your journey— what you have carried, what still hurts, what surprised you, or what you wish someone had told you. It need not sound wise or hopeful. It only needs to be honest.
Another day, you may come looking for a word that meets you where you are. Take the one that resonates. Leave the rest. Someone else’s truth may steady you for a moment—or simply remind you that you are not alone in what remains difficult.
Some Grace Notes may express anger, frustration, heartbreak, disappointment, or the weariness of long suffering. You may recognize some of these feelings in your own experience.
Grace Notes is a place for honest expression. Not every truth shared here will be comfortable, hopeful, or beautifully resolved. Sometimes healing begins when a person is finally able to give words to what has been carried silently.
We ask you to receive these notes with grace, even when another person’s experience is different from your own. Some expressions may be difficult to read or may contain language you would not personally choose.
Raw truth comes in many expressions, and within this compassionate space, truth must be given room to breathe.
Grace Harbor will thoughtfully review Grace Notes before they are shared publicly, but we will not remove the difficult parts of someone’s story simply because they are difficult.
Grace Notes reflects the personal experiences and perspectives of individual contributors. A published note does not necessarily represent the views, beliefs, or guidance of Grace Harbor Compassionate Services. Notes are thoughtfully reviewed before they are offered publicly. Difficult emotion and honest language may remain; Grace Harbor may decline content that threatens harm, attacks another person, shares identifying private information, or otherwise places this shared space at risk.
Grace Notes is a place for shared human experience and is not professional, medical, mental-health, legal, or ecclesiastical advice.
Someone else may need the truth you once needed to hear.
