Why this belongs at Grace Harbor

About

Education and shepherding can help protect the people we care about.

Compassion that reaches into daily life

Grace Harbor is about helping people grieve and recover through education and shepherding. Online harm can affect a person’s relationships, reputation, finances, and sense of security. Helping people recognize risks and find support belongs within that same work of compassionate care.

Our particular concern is for children and people experiencing grief, loneliness, or emotional vulnerability. We want to help families have meaningful conversations, identify trustworthy resources, and remain involved as technology and circumstances change.

Who these resources are for

Children using the resources with a parent or trusted caregiver; parents and grandparents; caregivers and community supporters; and adults navigating loss or loneliness.

What we hope to accomplish

The purpose of these pages is to share information and encourage practice. Our activities help visitors pause, question what they see, and consider how their words affect others. They do not collect visitors’ answers or personal stories.

What digital citizenship means here

It means considering the people affected by our online choices: checking before sharing, respecting privacy, responding with kindness, and asking for help when something feels wrong. A digital footprint is the trail created by our online activity. We should think carefully about what that trail reveals about us and about other people.
